Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic counseling services in both individual and group settings, fostering a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
  • Maintain meticulous client records and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other healthcare providers and community resources, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients who may present with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Special focus will be given to vulnerable populations, including children, families, and individuals recovering from trauma or addiction. Your expertise in tailoring therapeutic approaches to suit specific client needs will be essential in promoting their emotional and mental wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field is required for this position.
  • Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in the state of Texas is mandatory.
  • At least three years of demonstrated experience in clinical mental health counseling.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to document client interactions and treatment progress.
