• Maintain comprehensive and audit-compliant records for each client you serve, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct evaluations of interns by participating in performance assessment processes and providing necessary documentation.
• Monitor intern caseloads and assignments in collaboration with clinical supervisors to foster professional growth and meet service delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate with centralized intake teams and clinical stakeholders to address client needs and concerns promptly.
• Engage in ongoing quality assurance practices of client documentation to ensure compliance with agency standards and funder requirements.
• Participate in program and agency meetings, contributing to discussions on best practices and continual learning.
• Prepare and submit clinical reports as required by the Director to support service evaluation and improvement.
• Ensure the electronic health record (EHR) system, AWARDS, is updated accurately and promptly to reflect all necessary client data.
• Provide clinical consultations for crisis and non-crisis situations, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to client needs.
• Manage the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding process for interns, aligning with agency goals and mentorship programs.
• Plan and promote recruitment events to attract prospective trainees and interns.
• Facilitate training and workshops to ensure that interns are compliant with evolving federal, state, and county regulations.
• Contribute to a clean working environment and report maintenance issues as they arise to uphold safety standards.

You will be primarily serving clients in hospice care, addressing the unique emotional needs of individuals receiving end-of-life services. This involves developing tailored therapeutic approaches for both clients and their families, fostering understanding and coping mechanisms during one of life’s most challenging transitions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing reassurance and comfort, enhancing the quality of life for clients facing significant emotional distress.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
• An active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
• A reliable internet connection and ability to provide telehealth services.
• Residency in the United States, preferably California.

Experience working in a clinical or hospice setting is highly desirable, particularly in providing psychotherapy services to diverse populations. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and experience in mentoring or supervising interns will be advantageous.
