Program Overview Provides IC data management support to modernize mega data repositories, dataflow management, data provenance and compliance validation, and streaming solutions. About The Role * Lead and support the migration of on-premise corporate hardware systems into the WANDS/AWS cloud environment.
* Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPCs, networking, security controls, IAM, and related services.
* Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to ensure scalable, repeatable, and auditable deployments.
* Apply AWS Well-Architected Framework principles across operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability.
* Perform Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) functions, including automation of operational tasks, system hardening, and resilience engineering.
* Design and implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system availability, performance, and rapid incident response.
* Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to improve system reliability and reduce operational toil.
* Identify and drive continuous improvements in cloud architecture, reliability, and operational processes.
#MDFSP Qualifications * Sixteen (16) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is highly desired which will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience. A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience. NOTE: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered
* Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
One of the following certifications is required: AWS Certified Developer-Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate
AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Professional
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKAD)
Elastic Certified Engineer
Elastic Certified Obervability Engineer *Possession of a Cloud certification is required and will be verified as part of the interview or offer process. Desired Qualifications: * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, and automation.

This represents the typical salary range for this position. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
