Senior Technical Lead/React Native Lead

Location: Hybrid role - Boston/Burlington, MA (1st preference); Dallas, TX (2nd preference)

Duration: 24+ months Contract

Delivery note: We need strong React Native resource who can do solution and designing of Mobile App. We are looking for React Native Developer/Lead and not React JS. This position is purely for Mobile development, design and solutioning for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for Android and iOS.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to coding standards, security standards, and best practices.
  • Optimize application performance for maximum speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Ensure the code is high quality and has no security or data privacy issues.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Attend daily team stand ups.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in mobile development.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience developing mobile applications using React Native for 7+ years.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
  • Experience with mobile app deployment and publishing processes (App Store, Google Play Store).
  • Experience with Redux.
  • Experience with React Native navigation.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with either GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android).
  • Familiar with supporting push notifications via SFMC or another provider.
  • Familiar with deep linking.
  • Familiar with writing code that issues app logs and analytics events.

Job Description:

7+ years of experience in Mobile application development and at least 5 years of React Native development, with a strong understanding of React Native architecture, components, and lifecycle methods. Solid understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and related web technologies. Experience with debugging tools and techniques for React Native development, such as React Native Debugger and Chrome Developer Tools. Familiarity with mobile app development best practices, including performance optimization, security, and usability considerations. Experience in using tools like ESLint and native bindings. Experience in writing performant code. Knowledge of Redux, Hooks, and other relevant technologies. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and identify root causes. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders at all levels.

To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects. To ensure process compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussion so review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
