Position Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Onsite
Rate: $450/hr on 1099 with Travel, Lodging and Malpractice Coverage
Shift: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing (Year-Long Contracts Available)

Position Details:

Setting: Hospital-Based Radiology Practice

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
  • Perform light Interventional Radiology procedures
  • Support emergency, inpatient, and outpatient imaging services
  • Deliver timely and accurate reads in a high-volume environment

Required Procedures:

  • Light Interventional Radiology Procedures

Modalities:

  • X-Ray (XR)
  • CT
  • MRI (MR)
  • Ultrasound (US)
  • Nuclear Medicine (NM)
  • Fluoroscopy

Case Mix:

  • Emergency Radiology
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Musculoskeletal Imaging
  • Neuro Imaging
  • Pediatric Imaging
  • Diagnostic Mammography Procedures

Volume Expectations:

  • 90-100 Reads Per 8-Hour Shift
  • 60-70 wRVUs Per Shift

Systems:

  • PACS: Merge
  • Dictation: Fluency
  • EMR: Meditech

Coverage Needed:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • No Call Coverage
Submission Requirements:
  • Board Certified Radiologist Required
  • Experience with Light IR Procedures Preferred
  • Ability to Read XR, CT, MRI, US, NM, and Fluoroscopy Studies
  • Active State License Preferred
