Job description

LanceSoft is seeking a local contract Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Augusta, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

Mobile Radiologic Technologist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $29.00–$30.00/hour
State Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform portable digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) examinations.
  • Obtain high-quality, diagnostic X-ray images as ordered by physicians.
  • Transport portable X-ray equipment into healthcare facilities and patient care settings.
  • Submit diagnostic images electronically to a radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to a cardiologist.
  • Complete and scan required exam documentation and billing paperwork daily.
  • Maintain communication with dispatch and management throughout the workday.
  • Provide professional customer service while interacting with patients, facility staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain company vehicle and imaging equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Follow all company policies, state regulations, and radiation safety standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Active state radiologic technologist license (as required by state)
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Ability to travel between multiple healthcare facilities
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
