Job description

Delta Research and Delta Gear are an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures Automotive amp; Truck Differentials, Gear Products, Prototype/Development and Production, Transmission Builds. In addition, we provide contract gear and CMM inspection services.
We currently have an opening at our Livonia Michigan facility, for a Quality Inspector. The successful candidate will be required to perform a wide variety of Quality and technical tasks requiring thorough knowledge of manufacturing procedures and practice.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for the following:
Duties:

  • Perform quality inspections on products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements
  • Utilize various measurement tools and equipment such as coordinate measuring machines, micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
  • Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and procedures
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the quality control process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in quality assurance processes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, quality management principles, and quality control techniques
  • Familiarity with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) regulations is a plus
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from specifications or standards
