We are hiring for:
Triage - Behavioral Health Qualified Professional

Are you looking to join a dedicated team, helping others to start their recovery journey for mental health and/or substance use needs?
Are you a QP who can work in a fast paced, person centered environment?
If so our Triage QP position may be a great fit.
The QP serves as initial contact for Same Day Access Walk in Clinic for those seeking new services, gathers required information, completes triage determination and risk assessment tools to ensure safety and linkage to appropriate level of care.
Requires ability to communicate directly with individual in needs, community stakeholders and team member; to respond quickly and efficiently to individuals presenting for services
Pay: $20-$24 depending on experience
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm; in person in office; no travel required
Location: Lenoir, NC (Caldwell County)
Responsibilities:
  • Completion of triage and risk assessments to include Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale and Assault and Homicidal Danger Assessment
  • Provides introduction to RHA services and gathers information about needs, symptoms, current status to link to appropriate level of care
  • Assists with scheduling and arranging appointments for follow up care
  • Tracks walk in data and completes reports
  • Provides support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use issues in office setting.
  • Serves as back for administrative staff to answer phones and coordinate front office needs for breaks, vacations, etc.
  • Focus is on interventions that are strength-based and focused on promoting recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills, and achievement of the highest quality of life in the community.
  • Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the individuals served, the company, family, guardians, local agencies and the community
  • Minimizing the negative effects of psychiatric symptoms or substance dependence that interfere with the person's daily living and personal development, providing supportive counseling
  • Supporting the client in the development of various skill building activities, including: daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management
  • Performing Case Management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals
  • Working closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and providing feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting service implementation
  • All other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:: Must meet the requirements of a Qualified Professional.
  • Bachelor's degree (in Human Services field) & 2+ years full-time experience with population served
  • Bachelor's degree (Not Human Services field) & 4+ years full-time experience with population served
  • OR
  • Master's Degree or Higher & 1+ years full-time experience with population served.
  • License, Provisional License, Certificate, Registration, Permit issued by governing board regulating human service profession.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Definitions:
  • Human Service Degrees Include: Social Service, Sociology, Psychology, or other Human Service Degrees.
  • Populations Served Include: Mentally Ill-Child, Mentally Ill- Adult, Substance Abuse-Adult, Substance Abuse-Child
