Job Description: Senior System Engineer/Cloud Security - AWS
Experience Level: Level 3 / Senior (5–8 Years)
Locations: Malvern, PA or Charlotte, NC – Hybrid

Objectives: 
1. Preventing vulnerabilities in code (shift-left security) 
·       Embed controls earlier in the Data platforms
·       Catch issues before they reach production
2. Accelerating remediation at AI speed 
·       Handle vulnerability volume and velocity driven by AI tools
·       Improve throughput of fixing vulnerabilities
Required Qualifications 
·       AWS Security & Automation Expertise (Core skills)
o    Strong understanding of core AWS security and governance services, including IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, and Service Control Policies (SCPs)
o    Experience with infrastructure automation and serverless frameworks, such as CloudFormation, Lambda, and Step Functions
·       Security & Vulnerability Management (Core skills)
o    Experience with security scanning and analysis tools, such as SAST, Snyk, EchoAI, and AI-assisted penetration testing tools
o    Proven ability to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities across applications and cloud infrastructure
·       Cloud Platform Experience Across Key Domains (Domain-specific skills)
o    Storage : Amazon S3 (including S3 family services), EFS, and EBS
o    Data Sharing : Snowflake and enterprise File Transfer solutions
o    Streaming : Amazon Kinesis, EventBridge, SQS, Confluent Kafka, and Tableflow
o    Database & Replication Services : Cloud databases such as Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, Data Migration and Replication tools (e.g., AWS DMS, Qlik Replicate)
