Job description

Join a dynamic legal and contracting business systems team supporting key enterprise initiatives focused on contract lifecycle management. This role offers the opportunity to partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and quality partners to help shape solutions that improve contract processes, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for contract lifecycle management and related legal, compliance, and enterprise risk processes.
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to support timely and accurate solution delivery.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA professionals, and other partners in an Agile environment.
  • Help define scope, objectives, and functional needs based on user requirements and business system considerations.
  • Support data validation efforts by using checks and reports to help maintain accurate processing.
  • Assist in developing test plans, reviewing test cases, and supporting UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution.
  • Partner on implementation activities, training materials, and business documentation to support successful adoption.
  • Provide application and production support for the systems and teams served by the role.
  • Follow established development lifecycle processes to help ensure quality and readiness before release.
Skills
  • 6โ€“8+ years of experience in financial services, ideally with buy-side technology exposure.
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management processes, including contract creation, negotiation, approvals, execution, renewals, and terminations.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology, contract structures, metadata management, and document repositories.
  • Experience working with systems architecture, configuration, data mapping, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Intermediate PL/SQL and/or Python skills.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery practices.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and independent decision-making skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop practical and creative solutions.
  • Comfort working in environments that use AI-enabled software development practices.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms such as iCertis, DocuSign CLM, or Luminance.
  • Trading or investment-related experience.
  • Experience supporting legal, compliance, or enterprise risk technology initiatives.
  • Background in business analysis within complex enterprise environments.
  • Ability to create clear training materials and business documentation.
