Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Automation Lead to lead quality engineering initiatives for enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python-based test automation, API testing, and UI automation, with hands-on experience testing modern web applications built on React.js and Python-based backend technologies such as Django and FastAPI.
The candidate will define the automation strategy, build scalable automation frameworks, mentor QA engineers, integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
QA Leadership
• Lead and mentor QA Automation Engineers across multiple Agile teams.
• Define and implement end-to-end automation testing strategy.
• Drive automation adoption across UI, API, regression, and integration testing.
• Review automation code and establish QA best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
• Provide test estimates, risk assessments, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality software releases with minimal production defects.
UI Automation
• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks using Python.
• Automate testing for modern React.js web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, cross-browser, and responsive UI testing.
• Validate user workflows, dynamic web elements, and accessibility compliance.
API Automation
• Design and execute automated API test suites for RESTful services.
• Validate request/response payloads, authentication, authorization, and error handling.
• Perform integration testing between frontend and backend services.
• Verify API contracts using Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
Automation Framework Development
• Build scalable automation frameworks using Python.

CI/CD & DevOps

Database & Backend Validation
• Perform backend and database validation using SQL.
