Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is looking for a Kafka Developer with strong Java skills. The role involves building, re-architecting, and refactoring Java code for critical applications, as well as working with Kafka and Spark for data processing.
Responsibilities:
• Over 7 years of experience in building, re-architecting and refactoring of the Java codebase for critical applications.
• Python experience is a plus
• Over 3 years of working experience in Kafka (Consumption, publishing and streaming) architecture and integrations
• Over 3 years of working experience in Spark with Scala and processing of streamed data from Kafka
• Significant knowledge and working experience in Java concurrency modules and multi-threading implementations of critical applications in production
• Experience in migration of Java code from JDK 7 to 8 and/or 11 or later versions
• Very good understanding of RDBMS (Oracle) and data warehouse (Vertica) as programmer to optimize the performance of complex queries
• Significant experience in writing Junit for Java code coverage
• Significant experience in containers and micro services life cycle
• Significant experience in Spring modules, maven build scripts etc.
• Knowledge of Drools based rules engine
• Some experience in UI development and building contract for RESTful API in backend
• Knowledge of Hazelcast or distributed caching frameworks
• Basic Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana
