Responsibilities - Execute functional and custom test plans on managed Cisco switches and industrial network hardware. - Collaborate closely with hardware, network, and software engineers to define and refine test requirements. - Analyze new features and releases, applying rigorous troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Upgrade infrastructure and enhance testing procedures for optimized performance. - Automate result analysis using programming and scripting skills. - Support advanced manufacturing software, automation control systems, and drive systems.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including validation plans, SOPs, technical reports, and traceability matrices. Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial control systems testing environment. - Proficiency in Ladder Logic or Logic (PLC Programming).
- Hands-on experience with controllers/PLC and industrial hardware testing. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. - Scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Python).
- Experience testing Ethernet/IP and Cisco switches. - Background in OT networking. Preferred Skills - PLC programming experience.
- Familiarity with ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PowerFlex, and servo/motion control products. - Experience with multiple industrial networks: EtherNet, ControlNet, DeviceNet. - Exposure to low or medium voltage drives.
