Talent4Health is seeking a local contract nurse RN Occupational Health for a local contract nursing job in Napa, California.

Employee Health Support RN
  • Hours will be between 0700-1800 Up to 5 days per week. 8 hour shifts.
  • Guaranteed 24 hours.
  • Openings: 2

Duties:

  • Assists with the care and management of the employee's health. Primary focus is support of Employee Health clinics including but not limited to Flu and Respiratory Fit Testing.
  • Assists with back up tasks to the Employee Health RN Coordinators as requested only for support of new hires medical clearance review, work injuries, exposures, return-to-work, fitness for duty, organizational requirements and wellness initiatives.
  • Supports employee health clinics for Flu and Respiratory fit.
  • Supports other Employee Health activities or clinic initiatives.  
  • Assists in promoting health services to employees that meet established medical standards, OSHA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Patricipates in Performance Improvement activities.
  • Participates actively on assigned committees or projects, as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge in Worker's Compensation regulations and claims experience strongly preferred.
  • Clinical skills and injections. Ability to run specific clinics and document results in computer. OJT training will be provided for specified software.

Qualifications:

  • BSN required.
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing school or college.
  • Certification in Occupational Health nursing preferred.
  • Active, unrestricted California RN license required.
  • License must be in good standing throughout employment.
  • AHA or equivalent BLS required.
  • Three years professional-level experience in clinical nursing required.
  • One year of Employee and Occupational Health nursing preferred.
  • One year of case management experience preferred.
