Summary

Our client is a leading custom home general contractor in the San Diego, CA area. They are in need of a Custom Home Project Manager, who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our client's building projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage construction activities on-site, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in custom home construction, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight:
    • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities for custom home projects.
    • Ensure that projects are completed according to design specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
    • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and labor to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Quality Control and Assurance:
    • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
    • Identify and address any issues or deficiencies promptly, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
    • Implement quality control measures and maintain a focus on delivering a superior finished product.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, ensuring that all phases of construction are completed on time.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes.
  • Budget and Cost Management:

  • Safety Management:

  • Subcontractor and Supplier Management:

  • Documentation and Reporting:
