Job Summary

The Contract Analyst II serves as the primary gatekeeper for daily contract compliance and legal operations. This role manages the complete contract lifecycle, reviews new submissions for policy compliance, and maintains the organizational contract database and repository. Additionally, this position creates targeted training materials, supports internal and external audits, and assists with legal department support, as needed.

Key Accountabilities

  • Contract Compliance & Policy Oversight: Act as primary Contract Process Owner (CPO) for contract submissions and ensure organizational policy and regulatory compliance. Recommend changes to Company contract and signature authority-related policies and requirements.
  • Compliance Program Maintenance: Progress and maintain contract compliance program, including managing contract notices and related non-contractual documents.
  • Database Management: Organize, update, and maintain the central contract repository and Netsuite Contract Module software. Conduct ongoing reporting for management and audit-related requests.
  • Department Support: Provide administrative and operational support for contract administration and legal teams. Assist with purchase orders, law firm onboarding, invoice tracking and budget accrual reports.
  • Training Development: Create, update, and deliver compliance training materials and onboarding resources for internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • May perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • 3 years of job-related experience, including contract compliance, paralegal work or legal operations
  • Hands-on experience managing digital contract repositories and specialized CLM software databases
  • Must be able to hold a Notary Public license

Preferred:

  • NetSuite system experience
  • Experience in contract administration, legal operations or compliance within the energy or utility sector.

Other Requirements

  • Must possess high attention to detail for policy verification and audit reporting
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet tracking, data auditing and policy interpretations
