Technical Content Developer - Contract - Raleigh, NC/Hybrid - $27.00 - $31.00/hr.

Our client is seeking a Technical Content Developer in Raleigh, NC/Hybrid.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Technical Content Developer (TCD) creates and maintains high-impact, accurate, accessible, engaging content. The TCD will support training efforts and provide digital and written resources for end users. This person will also advocate for end users and ensure their needs guide the types of deliverables produced. The TCD should also encourage an open and free-flowing environment for ideas and innovation to flourish and be comfortable serving in a project management role between cross-functional teams and business units. Finally, this person will play a crucial role in driving the understanding and adoption of policies and procedures, systems, and the organization's culture through the production of various content elements such as procedural documents, workbooks, infographics, etc.

They were originally using a UK product called Trove- a writing app for novelists.
They migrated over to SharePoint and have been using SharePoint for many years but are now in the process of moving to a platform called NICE.
Its a cloud-based knowledge management and content publishing platform rebranded as CXone Expert.
It helps organizations create, manage, review, and publish knowledge articles for employees, customers, agents, chatbots, and AI systems.
NICE has a CMS aspect to it- classified as a Knowledge Management System (KMS).
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years experience in content writing (prefer use of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps like InDesign, Illustrator, etc) along with experience using Content Management Systems like DITA, Single-Sourcing, etc
Experience creating video tutorials and infographics- they are not doing alot of this now, but they will be soon
Familiar with Agile workflows
Understanding of instructional writing
Experience with formatting / Styling
Please include any technical writing samples when matching your candidate
Highly preferred to come from the financial domain
Camtasia experience - this is a popular screen recording and video editing application widely used by technical writers, trainers, instructional designers, and content developers to create software demos, training videos, tutorials, and how-to documentation.
