Make a Difference in Early Childhood Development

We are seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support Early Intervention and Preschool programs within a school-based setting in Columbus, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to work with young learners during critical developmental years while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve communication outcomes and school readiness.

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing therapy services, documenting progress, and collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success.

Position Highlights

  • Serve students in Early Intervention and Preschool Programs.

  • Home visits included as needed and built into the work schedule.
  • One SLP will float between ECLC (Ruby Rd.) and ECE (Johnstown Rd.).
  • One SLP will be assigned primarily to ECE (Johnstown Rd.).
  • Supportive school-based environment focused on early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Provide parent education and support regarding communication development.

QualificationsRequired
  • Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • ODE License.
  • Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP role.
  • Ability to perform evaluations, treatment planning, and therapy services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Prior experience with Early Intervention and Preschool populations.
  • Current CPR certification, if applicable.
  • Current Health Certificate, if required.
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray, if required.
CompensationLocal SLP
  • $65.00/hour
  • Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,080
Experienced SLP
  • $70.00/hour
  • Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,240
