Job Description
• Help suppliers prioritize facility needs to ship material and keep the client production lines running.
• Lead Control Towers working directly with LPAs from multiple production and service facilities, as well as suppliers and buyers, to prioritize what should be shipped to each facility.
• Create an Excel file showing need by facility and by week to highlight risk areas.
• Study methods and speed involved in production and other operations to establish standard shipments and improve efficiency.
• Interpret supply chain demand or formulas and confer with management to determine ship plans.
• Read logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets to verify records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
• Aid in planning work assignments in accordance with performance, production schedules, and anticipated delays.
• Prepare charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, material coverage, and adherence to plan.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
