Location: Atlanta, GA
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This is a high-volume clinic Pharmacy Technician role with a focus on hazardous drug and chemo compounding, preferably with experience in oncology facilities. The Pharmacy Tech demonstrates proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient) and provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders
  • Perform various technical duties involved with the handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals
  • Demonstrate proficiency to practice in two (2) or more specific pharmacy function areas (production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient)
  • Provide patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Required Skills
  • Hazardous drug and chemo compounding experience
  • Preferably experience in oncology facilities
Education Requirements
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia (required)
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty
