The full-time Pharmaceutical Quality Control Associate is responsible for completing the necessary quality checks that include but are not limited to ensuring the accuracy of repackaged medications, obtaining necessary approvals in order to move repackaged products to the next phase of processing and other duties as assigned by their supervisor. Each associate will be fully trained on how to review the necessary records as well as how they will review each type of pharmaceutical and/or OTC which could include:
โ€ข Oral solids
โ€ข Liquid cups
โ€ข Vials
โ€ข Oral Syringes
โ€ข Powders
โ€ข Overwrapping
โ€ข Kitting
The associate will be trained and will be held responsible for maintaining the equipment, where assigned, on a shift basis which can include cleaning and general equipment troubleshooting.
The technician will identify any quality control issues with their supervisor.
Mandatory Qualifications:
โ€ข High School Diploma or equivalent
โ€ข North Carolina Pharmacy Technician Certification
โ€ข Ability to physically perform light lifting
โ€ข Ability to follow written and oral instruction
โ€ข Good organizational skills
โ€ข Visual acuity
โ€ข Basic Math Skills
โ€ข Strong attention to detail
โ€ข Working knowledge of computer hardware & PC Windows
โ€ข Ability to read, write and speak English
Preferred: Associates Degree or higher
โ€ข Previous pharmaceutical repackaging experience
โ€ข Previous hospital or healthcare experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.50 - $15.50 per hour
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
