A Contract Perl Programmer is a software developer hired on a temporary or project basis to write and maintain code using the Perl programming language. They are responsible for developing scripts, automating tasks, managing databases, and supporting legacy systems that rely on Perl. Contract Perl Programmers often work with clients to design solutions, debug existing code, and ensure that software runs efficiently and securely. Their work is especially valuable for organizations with ongoing Perl-based projects or those needing integration with older systems.
