Job Summary:Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is an eight-year (2019-2027) global health initiative project funded by the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the United States Government (USG). EpiC has a global presence and extensive
breadth and depth of technical areas covering HIV, global health security (GHS), maternal, newborn & child health (MNCH), malaria and nutrition. The Project Director (PD) leads the project and is responsible for achieving the project's vision and strategy, directing the project technical team, and managing critical relationships with national and international partners and other key stakeholders. Reporting to the Vice President, Health Programs, the PD has overall programmatic and fiscal responsibility for the project, including achieving project results, effectively communicating accomplishments, managing contractual deliverables, and ensuring compliance with all US government and the organization's rules and regulations. Through a matrixed management structure, the PD works closely with the HP leadership team and other project leaders to ensure a closely coordinated approach to project implementation. The selected candidate will lead the project through the final year of implementation and ensure a compliant closeout through December 2027.

The expected US Based hiring salary range for this role is listed below. Candidates FHI 360 pay ranges represent national averages that vary by geographic location. When determining an offer amount, FHI 360 factors in multiple considerations, including but not limited to: relevant years of experience and education possessed by the applicant, internal equity, business sector, and budget.For internal candidates, salary placement will also follow FHI 360's current promotional increase guidelines. Final compensation will be determined in accordance with applicable law and FHI 360 policy.
Base salary is only one component of our offer. FHI 360 contributes 7% of monthly base pay to a money purchase pension plan account. Additionally, all US based staff working full-time, which is calculated at 40 hours/week, receive 18 days of paid vacation per year, 12 sick days per year, and 11 holidays per year. Paid time off is reduced pro rata for employees working less than a full-time schedule.
US Based Hiring Salary Range: USD 165,000 - 185,000 annually
