Job description

The North Carolina Investment Authority (NCIA) is a new independent state agency, governed by a Board of Directors chaired by the State Treasurer, tasked with investing North Carolina’s $144 billion in pension assets. Real Assets Equity has a target allocation of 18% of the total portfolio. NCIA is excited to announce we are seeking to fill a full-timeInvestment Analyston the Real Assets team based on‑site in Raleigh, NC. NCIA invests through a range of active and passive investment vehicles, including co‑mingled funds, co‑investments, and separately managed accounts. In this role, the Investment Analyst will become a Specialist in the asset class, which includes infrastructure, energy, mining, agriculture and other natural resources. For the Investment Analyst position, qualified candidates will likely have 1-5 years of experience working in a corporate, financial, or operations role. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated superior academic performance from a competitive college or university and a desire to excel within the asset management industry.
