Job description

Hardware Development Engineer (PCB) - (Multiple locations)

Role Summary
Hardware development engineer to support the design and development of next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware, including complex PCBA designs with FPGA SoCs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software, and FPGA engineers in a dedicated product development lab.

Responsibilities
  • Design complex PCBs incorporating FPGA SoCs (AMD/Intel platforms)
  • Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits
  • Support system-level hardware architecture decisions
  • Coordinate with contract manufacturers on NPI processes
  • Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, thermal, and signal integrity requirements
  • Partner with FPGA/firmware teams on hardware interface definition
  • Participate in design reviews
Required Qualifications
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years hardware engineering experience
  • Motherboard/PCB design including schematic capture, stackup, and layout
  • FPGA SoC hardware integration, validation, and debugging
  • DFx experience (design for cost, test, manufacturing)
  • Current active US Secret clearance or above
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS in Electrical Engineering
  • TS/SCI or above
  • AMD/Intel FPGA SoC platforms
  • Signal integrity and power integrity analysis
  • PCB design tools (Allegro, Altium, or similar)
  • High-volume manufacturing and NPI experience
  • High-speed interface standards (PCIe, DDR, SERDES)
