Job Title: Inspector / Packer
Job Description
The Inspector / Packer inspects manufactured products for quality defects, packages finished goods, and prepares products for shipment while ensuring full compliance with company quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of products to identify defects and verify that all items meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Package finished products accurately and securely, ensuring they are properly prepared for shipment.
- Prepare, verify, and apply packing materials, labels, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate quality and production records in accordance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Communicate quality concerns, production issues, and equipment irregularities clearly and promptly to supervisors and shift personnel.
- Sort, segregate, and handle nonconforming products as directed by management, following established quality procedures.
- Operate assembly and packaging equipment safely and efficiently as required to meet production goals.
- Follow all plant safety rules, procedures, and guidelines, and actively help identify and report workplace hazards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company policies and housekeeping standards.
- Perform production line activities such as loading, picking, material handling, and general labor tasks related to plastic products and inventory.
- Use tools such as RF scanners or other inventory devices to support accurate tracking and movement of materials when required.
- Attend work regularly and reliably, and perform other related duties as assigned to support overall production operations.

- Capability to perform packaging, labeling, and preparation of products for shipment.
- Basic machine operation skills for assembly and packaging equipment.
- Ability to perform assembly work on production lines.
- Competence in documentation and recordkeeping in alignment with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Commitment to workplace safety compliance and adherence to plant safety rules.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with shift personnel and other departments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, assembly, or quality control is helpful but not required.
- Experience in production line work, including loading, picking, general labor, and material handling.
- Experience working with plastic products or similar materials in a production setting.
- Familiarity with inventory processes and tools, including RF scanners.
- Comfort working in a structured environment with defined quality and safety procedures.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility designed to support consistent product quality and employee comfort. You will work on or near production lines that handle plastic products, performing tasks such as production, packaging, packing, inventory support, picking, loading, and general labor. The environment involves operating or working around assembly and packaging equipment and may include the use of RF scanners and other inventory tools. Shifts can be 12 hours, requiring sustained focus and efficiency in a fast-paced setting. Safety rules and procedures are strictly enforced, and employees are expected to maintain an organized, tidy work area in alignment with company policies and housekeeping standards.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Hebron, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
