Job description

AMS Logistics Inc is seeking a full-time FedEx Delivery Driver to provide reliable, safe, and timely package delivery in Seaford, DE.

Position Summary

As a FedEx Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers on assigned routes while maintaining excellent service standards. You will represent AMS Logistics Inc through safe driving, professional customer interactions, and dependable daily performance.

This onsite role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and secure packages for delivery, ensuring accurate handling and proper route organization

  • Deliver packages safely and efficiently to assigned addresses within scheduled timeframes

  • Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies while operating a vehicle

  • Provide courteous, professional service to customers and help resolve delivery-related issues

  • Maintain accurate logs and complete required documentation for deliveries and vehicle condition

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (as determined by hiring requirements)

  • Ability to perform physically active work, including lifting and carrying packages throughout the shift

  • Reliable attendance and a commitment to completing routes on time

  • Basic navigation skills and ability to follow delivery instructions accurately

  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in an onsite, route-based environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior delivery or driving experience in a route-based role

  • Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or transportation environment

  • Familiarity with safety practices for loading, handling, and delivering packages

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally on the road

  • Comfort using handheld or mobile devices to support delivery tasks (e.g., scanning or updating delivery status)
