PRISM Inc. is seeking a Sr. SQL Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical database environments. You will ensure high availability and data integrity for a high-consequence federal program requiring 24/7/365 uptime. This is 100% onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the installation, configuration, and patch management of multiple server database environments (SQL and NoSQL). Design and maintain complex database structures, including schemas, normalization strategies, indexes, and stored procedures. Use advanced monitoring tools to tune queries, manage configurations, and optimize database performance. Develop and execute comprehensive backup strategies and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans to ensure zero-loss data integrity. Utilize PL/SQL (Oracle) and T-SQL (SQL Server) to develop triggers and procedures for automated database functionality. Maintain rigorous documentation for configurations, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to ensure team-wide consistency. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS/EDUCATION) Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in database administration or a related field. Expertise in SQL-based systems, NoSQL databases., T-SQL and PL/SQL. Proficiency in enterprise-level performance monitoring and backup/recovery suites Must be willing and able to participate in a rotational on-call schedule to support 24/7/365 system uptime requirements.
