Job description

Nuclear Command, Control & Communications SME
The Opportunity:
As an operations analyst, you're passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a seasoned research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our strategic deterrence and nuclear integration team, you'll lead evaluations and management assessments to deliver solutions.
You'll lead a team, leveraging your extensive expertise, providing high level insight in architecture, operations, integration, and assurance of Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems supporting national strategic deterrence. In this role, you'll share your experience, strong analytical skills, and cybersecurity understanding to enhance the resiliency and survivability of NC3 infrastructure.
Use your high-level operations research expertise to provide analytical support and insights that improve leadership decision making processes, strengthens interagency cohesion, and ensures the client is prepared to address evolving global threats.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience providing technical expertise in NC3 enterprise systems
  • Experience conducting technical and programmatic analyses related to NC3 resiliency, survivability, and modernization
  • Experience supporting senior leaders in shaping national defense strategy
  • Experience in National Command Authority and NC2 structure, including policy, deployment, and operational frameworks supporting national security and nuclear deterrence
  • Knowledge of Nuclear Command and Control (NC2) and C2 relationships
  • Ability to assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies aligned with Air Force NC3 priorities
  • Ability to collaborate with senior government and partner organization leadership, as well as other SMEs
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a NC3 technology field

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting U.S. Air Force Headquarters A10, Joint Staff, or National or Interagency-level strategic missions
  • Experience supporting STRATCOM, NC3, or nuclear C2
  • Possession of strong analytical and communication skills
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other technical discipline
  • Completion of Cybersecurity and information assurance (IA), NC2, Nuclear surety, and Defense Nuclear Weapons School training

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
