Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a skilled and motivated Frontend Vue.js Developer. As a Frontend Vue.js developer, you will assist with the integration of a custom application with other client based systems.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally in an Agile environment
  • Build/update custom web application within microservices architecture
  • Work on front-end and ideally be able to support back-end code
  • Utilize understanding of accessibility standards
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Work independently and collaboratively as needed
  • Utilize superior interpersonal skills and strong communication skills
  • Work directly with the Project Manager to support emerging client needs

Requirements
  • 5+ years of custom web application development experience
  • 3+ years of VueJS 3+ experience
  • 5+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and back-end architecture interactions
  • Bachelor's Degree (or 2 additional years of experience)
  • JavaScript/CSS experience
  • Strong experience developing/consuming FastAPIs and/or RESTful web services
  • Solid knowledge of Scrum, Kanban Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent issue resolution skills within open-source products
  • Continuous integration (CI) experience
  • Understanding mobile-friendliness of websites
  • Familiarity with Section 508 standards
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or related field
  • Experience with the federal government
  • Experience with Vite, Quasar, or Pinia (Highly preferred)
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience working in Scrum or SAFe environments with 2 to 3 week sprint cycles
  • Experience with Python back-end coding

Travel Requirements
This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
