Senior Data Engineer

Pay from $96,000 to $148,000 per year

Build and modernize the data solutions that power Uline’s growing business. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll design scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting and decision-making across the business. You’ll provide technical guidance, help drive data modernization and deliver solutions that improve efficiency and business growth across our growing North American company.

Position Responsibilities 

  • Design and deliver impactful BI and data warehouse solutions that support Uline’s business growth across North America.

  • Help drive Uline’s data modernization strategy by leveraging Azure, Databricks and AI automation to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Build scalable data engineering pipelines to enhance enterprise analytics and reporting.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test and implement data warehouse applications.

  • Maintain high-quality solutions through code reviews, coding standards and ETL testing.

  • Provide technical guidance to a team of Data Engineers, promoting best practices and ensuring strong performance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.

  • 8+ years in data engineering.

  • 5+ years of developing enterprise ETL/data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS, Databricks or similar technologies.

  • Proven experience writing complex T-SQL and DB performance tuning.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve data issues.

  • Uline does not participate in the H1-B lottery.
