Job description

CGS is looking for a U.S. Army Mission Command and Warfighting Functional subject matter experts to join our team at the Fort Riley Mission Training Complex.Essential Functions:Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training.Understands Echelons above Brigade (EAB) Command and Staff operations.Keeps abreast of doctrinal, operational and tactical training methodology as well as technological developments and trends.Plans, coordinates, and executes unit collective training at ranging echelons ranging from Battalion to Corps.Assists unit leadership in planning collective training at training that will meet their training objectives.Identifies any gaps (resource, training, equipment, etc.) and works with the management team to ensure they are filled prior to execution of training.Serves in a mentorship or observer/trainer role when requested.Gathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).Maintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs.Embraces new technology including Army simulation training applications.Requirements:Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in technology-based training as well as the use and application of off-the shelf-tools and associated equipment and systems. Familiar with US Army Doctrine Multi-Domain Operations and Mission Command.United States citizenActive DOD Secret or higher clearanceEducation:BA/BS degreeExperience:8 years' experience in instructional development.War-fighter simulation experience is desired.10 years' experience Military training and training support.Former military instructor certification is preferred.Experience in operations and training requirements at Brigade or higher echelon.Have completed the Army Battle Staff course, Intermediate Level Education (ILE), or equivalent level military schooling.Working Conditions: inside office on Government siteRequired Travel: MinimalJob Type: Full-Time, Exempt (Salary)Work Week: Monday - Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements)Overtime: If required by training exercises.Contract Length: More than 1 yearBenefits and unique perks offered, but not limited to:Medical Reimbursement if not eligible for TRICAREDental, and Vision InsuranceFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)401(k) Matching Program11 Paid Federal Holidays3 Weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)Short-Term and Long-Term DisabilityBasic and Voluntary Life InsuranceCore Government Services is an equal opportunity employer.
