Job description

Software defined radio architectures (e.g. SCA, REDHAWK, or GNU), commercial wireless standards, geolocation techniques, software configuration management tools (e.g. GIT, Clearquest, Trac, or Subversion), Python, Eclipse IDE, Google Protocol Buffer, model-based design (e.g. Matlab, SIMULINK), service oriented architecture, and Linux OS.
 
Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required:
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (last polygraph must be within the last five (05) years)
  • Twelve (12) years of direct/relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience on projects with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) to include experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control  coding, signals  analysis tools  (e.g. WVT, DVT), and  digital signal processing (e.g. adaptive beamforming/ filtering, demodulation).
  • Experience with Software defined radio architectures (e.g. SCA, REDHAWK, or GNU), commercial wireless standards, geolocation techniques, software configuration management tools (e.g. GIT, Clearquest, Trac, or Subversion), Python, Eclipse IDE, Google Protocol Buffer, model-based design (e.g. Matlab, SIMULINK), service oriented architecture, and Linux OS.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Write software using C++, Java; suggest other languages as needed to solve problems
  • Advanced understanding of the Linux operating system
  • Identify problems in any part of an RF collection and processing system to include hardware, software, databases
  • Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequence of design
  • Design / implement complex signal processing algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints
$160,000 - $186,000 a year
The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
