Job description

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for a Lead Montessori Educator opportunity with a well-established Montessori school in Sanford, FL. This is a direct hire opportunity for an experienced educator who can serve as a strong classroom leader, curriculum guide, and key instructional presence within the school community.

Position Overview

  1. Lead and maintain a structured, respectful, and highly effective classroom environment
  2. Utilize strong classroom management skills to establish clear expectations, accountability, and consistency

  5. Deliver engaging and individualized instruction while maintaining academic rigor
  6. Teach and support advanced mathematics concepts through approximately grades 10-12
  7. Foster student independence, responsibility, confidence, and critical thinking
  8. Collaborate with school leadership and staff to maintain alignment with Montessori philosophy and educational standards
  9. Maintain a calm, organized, and intentional classroom environment conducive to focused learning
  10. Monitor academic progress and adapt instruction to support varying learning styles and needs

  • Experience working within multi-age educational environments
  • Strong mathematics background with ability to teach advanced concepts confidently
  • Ability to command respect and maintain structure while building positive relationships with students

Strongly Preferred

  • Montessori certification and/or extensive Montessori classroom experience
  • Deep understanding of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and instructional methodology
