Job description

We are seeking a motivated BCBA Intern to join our team while completing supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification. This role is designed for individuals currently enrolled in a graduate program who are passionate about developing their clinical skills in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). 

This is a dual-role position, where the BCBA Intern will maintain an active caseload as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) while gaining hands-on experience in assessment, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making under the supervision of a BCBA. 

This role is designed as a clinical development pathway, with opportunities for advancement into a BCBA position upon certification and strong performance. 

Role Responsibilities 

  • Provide high-quality, 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in clinic, home, and community settings  

  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA  

  • Collect accurate, real-time data during sessions to support clinical decision-making  

  • Support client progress through consistent, compassionate, and engaging therapy  

  • Accrue supervised fieldwork hours in alignment with BACB requirements  

  • Participate in treatment planning, including writing goals, behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and progress updates for review  

  • Assist with and participate in assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, FBAs)  

  • Analyze and interpret client data to support clinical recommendations  

  • Observe sessions and collaborate with BCBAs across clients and settings  

  • Complete assigned clinical tasks during scheduled fieldwork time, including:  

  • Data analysis and graphing  

  • Materials preparation  

  • Skill probing and program updates  

  • Drafting clinical documentation  

  • Support training initiatives, fidelity checks, and team development as assigned 

  • Complete assigned clinical and administrative tasks during scheduled fieldwork time, as assigned  

  • Assist with materials preparation, data analysis, and program updates, as assigned 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing  

  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field  

  • Actively pursuing BCBA certification and eligible for supervised fieldwork  

  • Minimum of 6 months experience providing ABA therapy  

  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and data collection  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in multiple settings (clinic, home, school)  

  • Familiarity with assessment tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS)  

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

 Hourly Salary Ranges** 

  • Full-Time: $28-$30 / Hour
