  • Experience in agriculture, dairy, producer relations, account management, education, training, consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong relationship-building, listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort speaking with individuals and groups in farm, community, and industry settings.
  • Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and maintain consistent follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and customer relationship management systems such as Salesforce.
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain insurability under Dairy West’s automobile insurance requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently throughout Idaho and occasionally out of state.
  • Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, Idaho’s Magic Valley.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with dairy producers.
  • Knowledge of Idaho agriculture and the dairy industry.
  • Familiarity with local, regional, or national dairy checkoff organizations.
  • Experience supporting producer education, workforce training, milk quality, sustainability, or other on-farm initiatives.
  • Spanish-language proficiency.
