Job Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Six Mile, IL

Job Description:

Seeking a Controls Engineer with 7+ years of experience in industrial automation and high-volume manufacturing. The ideal candidate will lead the design, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated manufacturing equipment, PLC controls, SCADA, and machine networks.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk SE, Ignition, and HMI/SCADA
  • Hands-on troubleshooting of PLCs, VFDs (PowerFlex), Servo Drives (Kinetix), motion control, and automated equipment
  • Experience with Cognex vision systems, industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ProfiNet, Modbus, Profibus), and RFID
  • Knowledge of electrical controls, instrumentation, PID loops, and machine commissioning (FAT/SAT)
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical device manufacturing
  • Knowledge of MES integration, Keyence/Fanuc vision systems, and Beckhoff or B&R (ABB) PLCs.
