Description & Requirements

Elder Research Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MANTECH international Corporation seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Exploitation Specialist (Data Scientist) to join our team in the DC Metro Area.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in data science, advanced analytics, machine learning, data visualization, or business analytics. Certifications and technical training may be used to substitute some years of experience.
  • Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Esri solutions such as Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and secure enterprise Esri portals such as Safehouse and ICGIS.
  • Senior-level proficiency in Python and its data science and visualization ecosystem (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash, Bokeh,etc.)
  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community operations.
  • Demonstrated experience creating highly customized visualizations and analytic applications to meet unique business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience automating analytic and business processes using Python.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) techniques to structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Knowledge of and implementation experience with advanced analytic methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have an active TS/SCI + CI Poly

Physical Requirements:

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
