Become a Key Player as a Site Contracts Administration and Customer Experience Manager

You will lead the site contract administration function and a team of contract specialists to improve contract compliance, backlog management, and the customer experience for domestic and international commercial and military contracts. You will influence site and division leadership decisions, mentor direct reports, and work onsite at the Irvine site as part of the Site Leadership Team.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Manage and supervise a mid-size team of contract specialists and administrators, assigning contracts by skill level and approving task planning and resource estimates
  • Oversee administration of existing contracts, backlog management, change control, and contract risk management reviews
  • Provide contract interpretation, analysis, investigation, and recommendations to mitigate risks and support negotiations
  • Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance and respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with the Site Business Team and advise other teams of contractual flow-down requirements
  • Establish direction, goals, policies, and procedures for the contracts administration function and champion career development and professional certification for the team
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Liberal Arts acceptable)
  • Seven (7) or more years of related experience, including a minimum of two (2) years in a team leadership role with direct supervision
  • Master’s level degree or advanced contracts management certification required (may be waived for candidates with multiple years of successful management of a contract administration team)
  • Broad knowledge of contract management processes, various contract types, and applicable regulations and laws
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present status, recommendations, and technical information clearly and influence business decisions
  • Proficiency with standard software and systems related to contracting and customer/supplier interface (examples listed include Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Salesforce), and familiarity with project management and database analysis tools
