This role is ideal for a commercially minded attorney who enjoys variety, collaboration, and solving complex business challenges. You'll partner with stakeholders across operations, generation, energy delivery, technology, and corporate functions to identify solutions, balance risk with business objectives, and provide counsel on a broad range of legal matters.
We're seeking an experienced legal generalist with strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to communicate complex legal issues in a practical way. The successful candidate will be curious, adaptable, and eager to learn while providing day-to-day legal support across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Wisconsin.
  • Five or more years of experience in business/transactional, regulatory, real estate, administrative, or corporate law.
  • Experience in the utility industry, another regulated industry, municipal or government agency, corporate practice, or commercial litigation preferred.
