Our Pratt and Whitney Digital Technologies - Enterprise Platform Systems team has a new opportunity for a Digital Technologies, Enterprise Platform Systems – Quality Engineering Test Analyst.

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our campus location in East Hartford, Connecticut.

What You Will Do:


This position will play a critical role in supporting quality and performance testing for DT applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with application owners, the Test Lead, and the Performance Architect to define testing requirements, develop automation scripts and processes, and ensure effective test plans are implemented and executed with a focus on automation.

Key Responsibilities:


- Support the Test Lead strategy and road map, with a primary focus on test automation and reporting.

- Define and document key test requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies (performance and load testing).

- Develop, implement, and execute test plans, leveraging tools for automation where possible.

- Monitor and report on test results, ensuring alignment with application requirements and KPIs.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to test engineers on tools, processes, and best practices.

- Collaborate with DT management and application teams to drive remediation actions and improve testing efficiency.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical field and 8+ years of applicable work experience; OR an Advanced degree in Information Technology or a related technical field and 5+ years of applicable work experience.

- Proven experience with application development standards, architectures, and best practices.

- Application testing and quality programs.
 

- Testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Tricentis NeoLoad, Tricentis QTest, Octoperf, Load Runner, Selenium, Cucumber.

- Project management and oversight experience.

- Leadership experience in test automation initiatives.

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:


- ITIL certification.

- Strong focus on test execution and reporting.

- Ability to navigate complex business environments and requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence actions outside direct reporting lines.

- SAFE Agile Practitioner.
