Job Description

Join our team as a Treasury Operations Specialist, where you will play a key role in supporting a fast-paced financial trading environment within the Marketing Business Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of critical treasury operations, including cash settlements, FX trade validation, margin and collateral management and banking relationship coordination. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and banking partners to ensure seamless transaction processing, effective risk management, and robust operational controls, while also driving process improvements and supporting strategic treasury projects. Core Responsibilities (amongst others):   

  • Perform timeous, controlled execution of cash transfers & settlements for Treasury and cash transactions
  • Liaise with banks on operational issues with updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Bank account static data setup in relevant systems and banking access rights setup/review.
  • Maintain Standard Settlement Instructions documents.
  • Bank account management - Open/close bank accounts and manage banks' periodic KYC reviews
  • Ensure all authorised risk mandates and marketing entity name changes are accurately and promptly updated with banking partners
  • Perform validation and confirmation processes for FX trades, ensuring accuracy of inputs to risk reporting and settlements processes.
  • Accurate setting up of Inter-co loans & deposits with Group
  • Perform monthly reconciliation on inter-co interest rates & transactions.
  • Margin administration & settlement for trading position with clearing partners and other counterparties
  • Ensure prompt payment and refund of margin following validation of P&L by Risk reporting team
  • Perform settlement processes for financial trades
  • Drive projects for Marketing and partner with Group through providing Marketing Treasury Operational lens, collaborating with stakeholders and supporting User Acceptance Testing & post go-live transitional phase.

  • 5+ years relevant experience within a Treasury setting
  • Managing banking relationships
  • Trade confirmation and settlement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to interface successfully at multiple organisation levels
  • Results oriented, capable of holding self and others to account on delivery
  • Ability to understand perspective of multiple stakeholders, and successfully influence / challenge the opinions of colleagues and senior manager
