Struts is an open-source framework for creating Java EE web applications based on the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. Contract developers may be engaged by companies to address specific needs, such as migrating legacy Struts applications, fixing bugs, or adding new features, without hiring a full-time employee. Their work often requires expertise in Java, web technologies, and the Struts framework, as well as strong problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with tools like Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA, version control systems such as Git, and knowledge of databases and build tools like Maven are typically required. Excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently make candidates stand out in this role.
