Job description

Salary:

CSlope Solutions is seeking aSenior Web Developer to support a federal client environment within the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the design, development, and delivery of enterprise web applications supporting mission-critical logistics systems.


You will work closely with technical leadership to build scalable, secure, and accessible solutions, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to overall system architecture and delivery excellence.


Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and websites
  • Build responsive, accessible user interfaces aligned with federal standards
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services supporting business workflows
  • Translate technical requirements and design artifacts into production-ready code
  • Participate in software design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes
  • Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in web development, including delivery of enterprise-level applications
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Proficiency in at least one back-end technology (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java or similar)
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and web services
  • Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices
  • Experience developing accessible applications compliant with Section 508 and/or WCAG standards
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting federal or DoD IT programs
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud or Azure Government
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, RMF, DISA STIGs)
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Developer or Scrum certifications


Security Clearance

  • Public Trust (Tier 2 or higher); Secret preferred


Work Environment

  • Work is performed on-site at a government facility in Norfolk, VA
  • Candidates must be local to or willing to relocate to the Hampton Roads area
  • This role is a full-time position aligned to a federal contract schedule
