A Contract Java Developer at a startup is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications on a temporary basis, usually to help accelerate specific projects or fill short-term talent gaps. They often work on building scalable backend systems, integrating APIs, and ensuring the product can rapidly evolve as the startup grows.
