Our client in DC is seeking a dedicated Physician or Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist for a 60-day assignment, commencing Sep 14, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive hospitalist care within a structured staffing model that includes both day and night shifts, serving a diverse patient population in a Trauma Center setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive hospitalist care within a staffing model that includes day shifts (7a-7p) for Physicians and APPs, and night shifts (7p-7a) for Physicians.
- Manage patients in a Trauma Center environment.
- Oversee care for patients across med/surg beds, with the capability to expand to more beds, and closed ICU beds.
- Collaborate with 24-hour Physician intensivist coverage for all ICU patient care and procedures.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC).
- EMR: Cerner.
