As a Contract Infusion RN, you will commonly care for patients requiring intravenous medications, such as antibiotics, chemotherapy, hydration therapy, or biologic infusions, often in outpatient clinics, hospitals, or home healthcare settings. Your caseload may include individuals with chronic conditions, cancer, autoimmune diseases, or acute infections, requiring detailed attention to infusion protocols and frequent patient assessment. Working as a contract RN means you may encounter a diverse patient population and need to quickly adapt to different site protocols.
