Job description

Infotainment Validation/Warranty Engineer

Location: Auburn Hills, Michigan
Type: Onsite
February 28, 2026

Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Support validation and testing of OEM infotainment system. Primarily Bluetooth, WIFI, Carplay, Android Auto, HMI, heads up display and cabin audio.
  • Execute test cases to verify software issues, and update status reporting.
  • Document and communicate warranty validation results, anomalies, and test summaries to the engineering team.
  • Track, investigate software issues; Evaluate and analyze measure bug during development and production with engineering team, and hardware team for electronics software issues
  • Utilized DFMEA processes to ensure solution robustness and provided test effort estimations for new purchase orders.
Job Requirements
  • Understanding of vehicle infotainment and connected car systems.
  • 3-8 years of experience in Infotainment testing.
  • Proficient in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Experience with data analysis, logging & tracing tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for test result tracking and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems/Science/Engineering.
  • Valid driver’s license & satisfactory driving record.
