Job description

Pharmacist – Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor (Contract)
📍 Location: Arizona 85550
💲 Pay: $2,837 – $3,175/week


Schedule
  • 5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts (flexible: 8- or 10-hour options)

  • Days and hours flexible

  • Local candidates preferred


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Direct, manage, and supervise daily pharmacy operations in hospital and retail settings

  • Develop and monitor operational and financial performance measures

  • Implement, evaluate, and update departmental policies and procedures

  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff for professional growth and performance

  • Oversee purchasing, inventory management, and dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, orientation, and continuing education programs

  • Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and governmental standards


Requirements
  • Pharmacist license (state of practice) – Required; Arizona license preferred

  • BLS certification – Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy – Required; PharmD and 1-year residency – Preferred

  • Minimum 5 years professional experience with 2 years management experience

  • Hospital experience – Required

  • Licensed to administer immunizations and emergency medications – Preferred
