As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your cloud architecture skills to improve warfighter collaboration? We need you to help us develop cloud-based solutions for some of DOD's toughest problems. On our team, you'll design a secure, cloud-based communications network to support mission-critical operations. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment using current cloud capabilities. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with your client to inform strategy and design and ensure standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. You'll recommend tools and solutions based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources. You'll lead your team as they help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Additionally, you'll broaden your skill set in areas like automation while develop ing critical systems for the government. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: * 4+ years of experience with administering Windows and Linux operating systems
* 2+ years of experience with supporting and administering engineering tools, such as 3D experience , IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, Model Center , Team Center , MATLAB, or STK or CAD tools, including CATIA or SolidWorks
* 2+ years of experience with cloud computing, including Amazon Web Services GovCloud or Commer cia l
* Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree * IAT Level II 8570 Certification , including Security+ Nice If You Have: * Experience in scripting tools and languages, including Ansible, Terraform, or Python
* Experience in standing up and configuring engineering tools on new and existing infrastructure
* Experience in develop ing and automating tools and infrastructure in the cloud * Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread
* Knowledge of DoD Security best practices and compliance requirements Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
